Eddie Bauer, Terminal Trainmaster / DSLE
Eddie came on with Port Harbor Railroad in 2018, where he was soon promoted to Designated Supervisor of Locomotive Engineers (DSLE) overseeing training, testing, certifications & audits of Port Harbor Railroad Locomotive Engineers. In March of 2020 he was asked to take on additional responsibilities as a Terminal Trainmaster. Duties include but are not limited to customer service, scheduling and crew planning, policy making, operational practices audits, payroll, security coordination and hazmat regulations. Prior to his role with Port Harbor Railroad, Eddie enjoyed a 15+ year career with BNSF. Notable past experience includes detouring trains in response to the Hurricane Katrina relief effort, running freight trains across 2,500 miles of mainline in 8 midwestern states under trackage rights agreements, and phasing in Distributed Power (DP) and Remotely Controlled Locomotive (RCL) operations. Much of the territory he covered was foreign mainline belonging to Union Pacific, CN-IC, TRRA, Port of Little Rock Rail Road, FWWR, TRE, & CSX.
