Dale Jenkins, General Superintendent

With 40 years of Class-I railroad experience, Dale has held positions as Operator-Leverman, Assistant Trainmaster, On Board Service Director and Special Agent with the Illinois Central, Illinois Terminal, Amtrak, and Norfolk Southern Railroads.

His responsibilities for Port Harbor Railroad are system-wide to ensure the compliance of safety and operating rules. He serves as the FRA Compliance Officer and conducts the FRA-mandated conductor training and certification. In addition, he presents the annual operating and safety rules classes, designs and presents programs for continuous training of operating personnel and conducts quarterly efficiency tests.
